Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing a roundup of the Free Quilted Pillow Patterns I’ve shared over the years here on the blog. This will make it easy for readers to see all of the options available and to easily navigate the patterns and tutorials for these projects. I’ve also got links to my posts for finishing pillows and for my favorite pillow inserts. Happy pillow-making!

Mini Charm Pillow + Table Mat
This free pattern is another one I’ve been making on repeat. I have a table mat and a pillow version in Strawberry Lemonade, a table mat version in Bountiful Blooms, and my newest version is the Dresden Cheater Center pieced with our Raspberry Summer collection. You can download the free PDF for this pillow below. Or if you’re in the US you can get a paper copy from my shop.
Orange Peel Pillow
My Orange Peel Pillow is one I’ve made twice…in our Bountiful Blooms collection pictured above and also in our Strawberry Lemonade fabrics. I really want to make a full-size quilt with these blocks one day, too! Find the tutorial below and also download the free PDF for the pillow instructions.
Log Cabin Pillow
Another fast and easy pillow project is my Log Cabin Block Pillow. I’ve made the one shown in our Strawberry Lemonade fabrics. Get the free block PDF below. (This block finishes at the same size as the Orange Peel project above, so you can use those directions for the pillow finishing). Note: this block pattern is also terrific for making a scrap quilt!
Scrappy Patchwork Pillow
This Scrappy Patchwork Pillow has been a favorite of mine for years, and I’ve made it in several of our collections. The block also works beautifully for making a scrappy table runner! Find all of the details below:

Flying Geese Pillow
My most recent pillow finish is this 18″ finished Flying Geese Pillow I pieced with scraps from our Bountiful Blooms collection. This design was inspired by a free mini flying geese pattern and tutorial I shared a couple of years ago. The mini block would actually make a darling small pillow, too!
Quilted Pillow Sham Tutorial
A few years ago, I shared a tutorial for a simple patchwork quilted pillow sham. I’ve also made these shams in Christmas fabrics, and they are the perfect addition to a bed during the holidays. Find the free tutorial linked below.
Patchwork Christmas Pillow Tutorial
One of my quick and simple Christmas pillows is a free tutorial here on the blog. While I don’t have a PDF for the instructions for this one yet, you can find the complete tutorial below.
Valentines Pillows
If you’re looking for heart-themed or Valentines Day pillows, I have several options for you. I also have a free PDF for the X+O pillow and the Stitch Pink 2023 pillow. The Hearts at Home pillow is a tutorial available on my daughter’s site.

Helps for Finishing Pillows
Below you’ll find posts that will help you with all of the finishing details for your quilted pillow. You can make a simple envelope back or even add a hidden zipper to your pillow to make it easier to change out the pillow inserts. And also find my absolute favorite pillow inserts that are nice and full–they come in a wide variety of sizes, too.

Thanks for all these pillow patterns. I am making my sister a king quilt with Simply Delightful. I am adding a few of your other fabric lines that match to make throw pillows. She is going to love it when I’m done.

This is so awesome, Sherri! I LOVE pillows, too, and have used some of your patterns in the past to make them. I also learned an easy and flawless way to put a zipper in a pillow back on your You Tube channel. THANK YOU! You’re the best. Have a wonderful week.
