Hello, friends! Today I’m happy to be sharing my brand-new Liberty Sampler Quilt + Wall Hanging. I’ve made these projects in our upcoming collection, Midsummer, which will ship to stores in December 2026. Keep reading now for all of the details on the pattern and the projects.

Liberty Sampler Quilt + Wall Hanging
Quilt Details
The Liberty Sampler Quilt finishes at 56 ½″ x 66″ and is the perfect size quilt to throw on the couch or take outside to watch fireworks! (The Wall Hanging version is included in the pattern with fabric requirements for that below). It’s a great scrap quilt project and also works wonderfully with a couple of precut options:
- Use one fat eighth bundle to make the quilt.
- Or use a Layer Cake and a Honeybun (with the layer cake you could also just add in fabrics for the red stripes in the flags)
- ⅞ yard sashing
- 1-yard outer border and cornerstones
- 1 ½ yards background
- ⅝ yard binding
- 3 ⅝ yard backing

Wall Hanging Details
The Wall Hanging version of the Liberty Sampler finishes at 37 ½″ x 37 ½″ and will use the following requirements (if you’ve used a fat eighth bundle for the larger quilt, you’ll have enough scraps for the wall hanging other than fabrics for the red flag stripes):
- 1 Layer Cake
- ¼ yard sashing
- ⅝-yard outer border and cornerstones
- ¾ yard background
- ½ yard binding
- 2 ½ yards backing

Liberty Mug Rug + Pillow in Midsummer
As I shared in the video, I just had to make my Liberty Mug Rug and Pillow designs from last summer in this new collection. It was so much fun to have these projects in the booth at the H&H Americas show!

Thanks so much for stopping by to learn about the Liberty Sampler Quilt and Wall Hanging. I’ll be sharing the other new quilts over the next several days and weeks.
Happy quilting!
