Quilt Block of the Month June 2024

Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Quilt Block of the Month June 2024. And with today’s blocks we are officially at the half-way point of our sew along! I’m having so much fun seeing all of the different blocks in such a fun variety of fabrics and collections. Thank you so much for sewing along!

Quilt Block of the Month June 2024

June Block Details

This month’s block contains four quarter-square triangle (hourglass) units inside of the outer star points. The possibilities are really endless when considering fabrics for the center units. I used four different fabrics for the centers (plus background), but I easily could have used eight prints or one or somewhere in-between. The center units are over-sized and will need to be trimmed to the exact size specified before sewing them together.

2024 Quilt Block of the Month Sew Along Details

• This year’s blocks will feature both 16″ and 8″ finished sizes of blocks.
• There will be a setting for each size quilt provided in early December 2024.

• I will be making my quilt using our Strawberry Lemonade collection which will be available in stores in early 2024 (pictured throughout this post).
• I’m sewing along with the tone on tone from Strawberry Lemonade. Moda Bella 9900-200 is also a great background option if you are using this fabric collection.
