Quick Fall Quilt Projects
I have lots of fun projects to share with you today. I’ve created some fun new designs for fall in the last couple of years, so I thought it was time to do a roundup and share them all in one post. Find a variety of project ideas here today including pillows, toppers, placemats, wall hangings, quilts and more. And keep track of all of your fall quilts and decor items–where you use them, and where you store them–with my free fall decor printable. This is a two-page document that also has some fun tips for you!

Pumpkin & Vine
Pumpkin & Vine is one of my newest fall project patterns. I made the quilt, then had to add a table runner and wall hanging option. All three are included in the Pumpkin & Vine pattern which is terrific for scraps. (I used a combination of Strawberry Lemonade and Raspberry Summer fabrics for my projects).

Maple Sky Remix
Maple Sky was one of my first fall patterns. Later I added a mini version, and when I remade both of these projects using our Bountiful Bloom fabrics I combined both patterns into one. The mini works as a pillow or topper, and the larger quilt is one of my absolute favorites!

Flying Geese Pillow and Mini
I also have a couple of fun free projects that are perfect for your fall sewing. Find them below:

Pumpkin & Leaf Placemats
Last year I could hardly wait to make some pumpkin placemats. It was a little bucket list project that had been on my list for quite some time. I also added a leaf block option to this pattern.

Fall Pillow with Pumpkin, Leaf, and Star
I also love my little Fall Pillow with Pumpkin, Leaf, and Star. This is the perfect little pillow to sit on a shelf or on a chair. And this one would also make a great mini to hang on the wall or use as a placemat.

Fall Dash Mini
My Fall Dash quilt is definitely a favorite, and I couldn’t wait to make a wall hanging version when we shared our Bountiful Blooms collection. This is a favorite combination of mine–churn dash blocks, pumpkins, and leaves!

Pumpkin Patch Quilt
This one is a nice sized quilt–but it goes together so quickly you could make it in a weekend! The alternate chain blocks are a breeze, and the strip-pieced pumpkins are also quick to make!

More Ideas for Fall Decor and Sewing
I’ve also got some other fall projects that I made with fall fabrics but not necessarily a fall-themed pattern. You can see those along with some other fun fall quilts in the posts below:

Hi Sherri. This morning, as I was reading an article in the New York Times about a community of retired ladies who live in small homes in Texas, there was a photo of a lady sitting inside her home, and the photo included your Heart of the Home/Summer House quilt! Right there in the New York TImes. Very exciting. If I could figure out how to send a photo of it to you, I would, because it was pretty cool.

Yes, my friend just sent me a link to the article! Thank you for also letting me know!

My block of the month is free–patterns are shared here on the site on the first Monday of each month. You can go back and print all of the previous months, and you will get an email when I post the September block. Happy quilting!
