Sewcialites 2 Quilt Block 4

Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Sewcialites 2 Quilt Block 4 from the current Fat Quarter Shop sew along which is the cute Flirty block designed by my daughter Chelsi. This is a terrific block to use little scraps (and you might even have some half-square triangles ready to use from your stash like I did). Keep reading for all of this week’s block details.

Sewcialites 2 Quilt Block 4

My block four is pictured at the upper right of the above photo. I used red and green prints from several of our collections including Emma, Summer Sweet, Harper’s Garden, and Creekside. I actually had some of the half-square triangles left over from previous projects and just needed to trim them to the correct size. I’m using the tone on tone leaf print from our Emma collection for my background fabric.

• First, have fun making this week’s block as scrappy as you’d like for extra fun.
• Trim the half-square triangle units to the correct size this one, making this block go together quickly and easily.
