Valentines and Heart Projects Round-Up

Happy Tuesday!  Today I’m sharing some Valentines and heart projects–many of these are fast and fun projects that you still have time to make before next week…

Heart Pillow

First up is this adorable heart pillow that my daughter Chelsi made recently. 

(I helped her out just a little bit by doing the simple machine quilting for her). She decided to make the heart pillow because she had recently finished up heart quilts for both of her girls and wanted a fun pillow sham to coordinate.  You can find her free tutorial for this project here.

Heart Quilts

Here is Chelsi with one of the two heart quilts.  She got the heart in a star block from this pattern and set them together with wide sashing and a border.

Free X’s and O’s Pillow Tutorial

This pillow was a lot of fun to make!  And it is really a fun afternoon project.  I’ve seen some already made since I posted the tutorial last month.  Find the free tutorial for my Valentines pillow here!

This is a fast and fun pillow you can make with mini charm squares!  The tutorial by Amy Sinibaldi was originally made with Christmas fabrics, but it looks just as good with Valentine’s fabric.  Find the original post with link to the free tutorial here.
