Hello, friends! The Saturday Seven 336: Lifestyle & More for Quilters post features inspiring articles, quilting, sewing, home and organization ideas. I hope you’ll enjoy this fun roundup of things I’ve found from around the internet this week. Happy reading!
Saturday Seven 336: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
This month I’m choosing a different self-care activity each week and sharing a few ideas on that topic. This week’s focus is decluttering for self-care. I loved this piece on “Less Clutter, More Home” and especially enjoyed reading about the health benefits associated with less clutter. I also loved this article with “6 Minimalist Hacks to Curate an Uncluttered Home.”
2. Recipes to Try
This Street Corn Queso dip is the perfect recipe for your Cinco de Mayo celebration. Finally, for your sweet tooth: these Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Muffins look amazing.
3. Quilt + Sew
First…Fat Quarter Shop has my patterns on sale through the month of May as their Pattern of the Month! Find great deals on all of my patterns here. My friend Melissa is sharing a darling patchwork tote bag tutorial here.
4. Book & Podcast Recommendations
If you missed my review of Uptime the other day…here it is again. My favorite read in quite a while is a terrific book by Google’s productivity expert Laura Mae Martin. I read this book in just a couple of evenings and am starting it again to put everything into action. 5 stars out of 5–highly recommend! I also loved this podcast episode with Greg McKeown and author Topaz Adizes (there is also a part 1 to this conversation which is also excellent).
5. Garden of Quilts
I’m super excited to share that I’ll be teaching three classes this fall at the Garden of Quilts in Lehi, Utah. Coastal Summer Medallion will be an all-day class perfect for intermediate quilters. And then Vintage 2 and Happy Go Lucky are both half-day class options. Find all of the details here.
6. Spring is the Season
I’ve been cleaning and decluttering all over the house for the last month and have found a couple of fun organizers. This underbed shoe organizer is terrific! I love that the inserts are adjustable with Velcro to meet the needs of your storage. And Lazy Susan’s are my favorite for keeping things under control in the bathroom.

Shari not sure if this is possible for me to get Block of the month for 2022. The only one I could not print was December 2022 and the layout.
