Hello, friends, and happy Saturday! Today I’m sharing my Saturday Seven 320: Lifestyle & More for Quilters post. I’ve been sharing a round-up of fun and inspiring things from around the internet each Saturday for 320 weeks in a row! I hope you’ll find some inspiration in today’s post for your weekend and the week ahead. Also, since our Strawberry Lemonade fabrics are now shipping, I’ve punctuated today’s post with photos of that collection fabrics and quilts.
Saturday Seven 320: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
This Habits for Happiness quiz from Gretchen Rubin was a super fun quiz. I love that at the end you get specific examples of things to do now to up your happiness level (also, mine was right on target). I also enjoyed the ideas in “10 Questions to Simplify Your Life Right Now.” And finally, here are “10 Things to Eliminate from Your Daily Routine to Increase Your Peace and Focus.”
2. Recipes to Try
I’m really trying to eat healthier right now, but I might have to try this French Toast Casserole recipe! And this 30-minute + one-pot Creamy Sausage Gnocchi looks like the perfect winter comfort food for this cold spell we are having. Finally, yes to this Lemon Grown Butter Salmon!
3. Quilt and Sew
My big sewing news this week is that our Strawberry Lemonade fabrics are beginning to ship to your favorite stores! As soon as my yardage arrives, I’ll have some really fun kits available in the shop. Also, my friend, mentor, and Moda Marketing Director Lissa shared a fun group of quilting acronyms recently. Visit her blog for the printable list and the answers (there were a lot I did not know)!
4. Book and Podcast Recommendations
I’m close to finishing From Strength to Strength and am enjoying it so much! And I listened to some great podcasts this week. I loved this week’s episode of the Happier with Gretchen Rubin podcast: “Follow the One-Minute Rule, Stay Calm, and Identify the New Habit That Will Make You Happier.” It was also nice to catch up on the latest episode from my friend Kristin Esser of the Simple. Handmade. Everyday. podcast.
5. Organizing
Doing these 7 things before bed can help you master your mornings. And here are some great ideas to help you get more reading in this year (I keep my Kindle in my purse and attribute that to my increase in reading last year).
6. Recent Finds and Favorites
I just bought one of these inexpensive whisks to use for mixing my protein drinks–and–no more shaker cups–this was one of my favorite purchases in December! I also bought these battery-operated lights for the holidays but am going to use them year-round (in the winter months, for sure). Finally, I have some of this spray on the way–it came highly recommended, and I can’t wait to try it!
7. Recently on the Blog
Below you’ll find links to posts from earlier this week on the blog:

Lots of great resources. I recently purchased a bottle of the quilting spray and really like it! Thank you for suggesting the book From Strength to Strenth; I had not heard of it but it sounds perfect for me. I’ve already put the book in my Amazon cart. Also, I cannot wait to receive my Strawberry and Lemonade fabric that I purchased from Chelsi. Have a great weekend and stay warm!

Our local quilt shop owner just recommended that same spray starch to me on Saturday! She loves it!! It’s her personal favorite, so I brought some home too. It’s made here in my hometown of Kansas City. Can’t wait to try it out. I sure enjoy your Saturday Sevens, Sherri!
