Hello, friends! Today I’m super excited to share my new and revised Pot Luck Quilt Pattern. I first designed this pattern several years ago using a Sweetwater collection. I’ve since made it in a fun Christmas group of fabrics, but I’ve always wanted to make it in my own fabrics. So, I’ve updated and revised the pattern with new illustrations and also added a baby quilt version that will quickly become your go-to baby quilt design. I also have a video to share some of the helps and details up close.
Pot Luck Quilt Pattern (New)
Pot Luck Quilt Details
The Pot Luck quilt pattern is designed for Layer Cakes and also uses strip-piecing for a quick construction. The Emma panel blocks can also be used in place of the Dresden blocks in this quilt–or the Dresden pieces can be omitted altogether. There are lots of options here. The large quilt finishes at 66″ x 76 ½″.
Pot Luck Baby Quilt + Wall Hanging
The pattern also includes a baby quilt version that finishes at 45″ x 55 ½″. In addition, I made the cute wall hanging pictured above with four of the contrast chain blocks from the Pot Luck quilt pattern and five panel blocks. I added inner an outer borders for a finished wall hanging of 40″ x 40″.

Linda,
Their YouTube videos normally have closed captions (click the CC which shows up on the right hand side). I discovered mine on by accident, but often leave it on for other channels who don’t have very good audio. I believe that YouTube does this function and not the individual channels.
The latest video (as of the time that I am typing) is at https://youtu.be/iinyCGOO0MQ and you can click on Sherri’s channel name “A Quilting Life” which will take you to her channel library. I’ve been binge watching it and have learned SO much!
I hope you found this information helpful.
