Hello and happy Thursday! Today I’m sharing an easy charm pack placemat tutorial I did a couple of years ago while filming for Fat Quarter Shop. My friends at Fat Quarter Shop are going back to some of their favorite projects and re-making them in new fabrics right now! So…I thought you might want to see some of their fun finishes using my Easy Charm Pack Placemat Tutorial! These placemats really are a terrific project because you can make a set of four placemats with just a little additional fabric for borders, backing and binding!
The New Easy Charm Pack Placemat Photos
I think this might be my favorite set of the new placemat photos that Fat Quarter Shop sent over! They are pieced with the delightful Homegrown collection by my friend Deb Strain. Aren’t these fun! They would be perfect for a fall table setting, or for adding the Farmhouse décor look to your table. You can find pre-cuts and yardage from the Homegrown collection here.
Of course these placemats made by Codi using The Good Life fabric collection by Bonnie & Camille are some other favorites of mine! You can find The Good Life pre-cuts and fabrics here!
And, you can’t go wrong with these cute Christmas version placemats, either! Especially since a lot of us are making Christmas in July projects right now! These placemats are pieced using the Return to Winter’s Lane collection by Kate & Birdie for Moda Fabrics. I think they’re just so elegant! Find the Return to Winter’s Lane precuts and yardage here.
And here is another Christmas option. These gorgeous charm pack placemats are made with the White Christmas Metallic collection by Zen Chic for Moda Fabrics. These fabrics are the perfect collection for a more modern Christmas décor look for your table! Find the White Christmas Metallic collection precuts and yardage here.
And here are the original placemats I made for the video tutorial using the Little Ruby collection by Bonnie & Camille! These placemats shine with the Classic Bonnie & Camille look, but it’s also fun to see this simple pattern made up in the newer collections!

Hi Sherri:
I love this pattern. I first saw it when you and Kimberly Jolly made them on Fat Quarter Shop YouTube channel. I have made these so many times I can’t count anymore. Thank you so much for sharing this easy, but very lovely pattern.
