Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing my A Quilting Life Year in Review 2023: Quilts post. Today I’ll share the larger quilts I’ve made over the past twelve months, and in an upcoming post I’ll share the smaller projects that I’ve also made throughout the year!
A Quilting Life Year in Review 2023: Quilts
Favorite Things Quilts
While I shared many Favorite Things fabric collection quilts here on the blog here in 2023, most of them were actually pieced in the final months of 2022. But my Sewcialites 2 and my 2023 Block of the Month quilts both used our Favorite Things fabrics and were made and finished primarily in 2023. I did also sew quite a few smaller projects with our Favorite Things collection this year that I’ll share soon.
Bountiful Blooms Quilts
I did a lot of sewing with our Bountiful Blooms collection this year. It really was our first “fallish” group, and so I really went all out sewing quilts large and small with this group! Pictured above clockwise from top left are:
I also enjoyed piecing the Fat Quarter Shop Bountiful Charity Quilt Along quilt in our Bountiful Blooms fabrics. It’s the perfect wall hanging, and I’m so happy I sewed along with this fabric collection.
Strawberry Lemonade Quilts
Ah, Strawberry Lemonade! There were so many quilts and projects with this lovely collection. (And one of my very favorite 2023 makes with this collection is one I’ll be sharing with you next year). First, clockwise from top left, above:
- Coastal Summer Medallion Quilt
- Summer Star Medley (with three additional sizes)
- Vintage 2
- Jelly Roll Sampler
Thanks so much for stopping by to read my A Quilting Life Year in Review 2023: Quilts posts. I’ll have one final wrap up post for the year and then it’s time to get ready for 2024!
