Moda Blockheads 7 Block 4: Kindred Rose
Kindred Rose Block Details
This week’s Kindred Rose block looks a lot more complex than it is. It is made up of a lot of different units, but everything went together smoothly and beautifully. It was fun to work on and see coming to life. I used light and darker coral fabrics for my flower along with two different green prints and a tone-on-tone background. I love the heart in the center of the block, too! This week I followed all of the pattern directions; however, I did use a Mini Simple Folded Corners ruler to make those easy corner units go more quickly and accurately.

This is so pretty in Coastal Breeze. I think I heard that you will be sewing Fat Quarter Shops Sewing Machine Love quilt in Coastal Breeze. If so, do you plan to share your color plan? I bought the pattern and plan to wait for Coastal Breeze to be available before making mine.
