Hello! Today I'm sharing a fun new jelly roll pattern! This super fun quilt was on my design list for a while before I decided what to make it in...and I'm already planning a second version because I love this pattern!
I had a lot of fun piecing this right after Christmas, picked it up from the quilter
the other day, and finished up the binding on Tuesday! This quilt is a terrific size, finishing up at 70" x 84"--perfect for a twin bed with just one jelly roll required.
Initially I was going to use a variety of prints for the sashing posts, but I'm so glad I went with the black prints...it adds such a fun pop of color.
I also went with a black polka dot binding to tie it all together. While the pattern calls for one jelly roll, you can also use left over jelly roll strips and fabrics from your stash, making this a perfect scrap-buster quilt.
I'm definitely going to make a 4th of July version, a Christmas version, and also make this with scraps from our next collection.
I have the pattern for sale in my Etsy shop for a special price through the weekend...and it is available in paper and PDF. (You can find the PDF version here and the paper version here).
Thanks so much for stopping by!
