Hello again! The first day of the month is always a busy day since Michele and I share our monthly parades for our Minis and More quilt along group. This month’s challenge was to share a work in progress that you finished in the month of January.
I know I’ve shared my County Fair quilt a lot this month…but it’s because of
this challenge that I was motivated to finish it up. It’s currently waiting to be quilted…but if you happened to miss my last post on it you can read it here.
Below is Hildy’s wonderful finish for the month. This is the Tula Pink City Sampler quilt. I’ve been following along with Hildy’s progress on Instagram for a while now, so it was exciting for me to see it all put together!
This is Karen’s “Barn Dance” quilt (pattern by Kim Diehl) that she started back in August…what a wonderful finish!
Brenda finished up this cute camper wall hanging she had been needing to quilt for quite some time. You can read more about her finish on her blog here.
And finally…Patty finished up this Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt this month (and it uses two prints from our Valley collection)! She also has a blog post about her finish here.
It was fun to hear about so many fun finishes…you can see more on Michele’s blog. Thanks so much to everyone who participated!
If you would like to participate next month our challenge is simple, fun, and perfect for February! We thought we would do a color challenge rather than a pattern challenge (as suggested in the comments in December): make something using red or pink as the primary color in your quilt. I’m sure it will be a lot of fun to see all of these projects next month with such a fun focus on color!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
