First, the elephants…aren’t they so adorable? I love them but just can’t figure out what to do with them. There have literally been some elephants in my life lately, too…well…those “big project” kind of elephants, anyway. I’m really looking forward to a relaxing spring break next week with some “just for fun” sewing!
On the worktable today is a project I’ve been working on here and there for nearly a month. I’ve finished all the applique’ and am ready to start putting this together!
I’m hoping my ideas for the sashing are going to pan out on this one…hopefully I can finish a couple of things today and get at least a few rows together to share soon!
And here’s a sneak peek of something I’ll be sharing tomorrow…tomorrow is my day for Monique’s blog tour!

I have been wanting some of that elephant fabric for a while now. Not sure what I'd do with it either!

Pretty colors!!! Spring on your worktable.
Can't wait to see more of the appliqued project.

I need some of that fabric! What line does it come from? Have you seen the pieced elephant block I did about a month or so ago? I will be making more and your elephant fabric would be perfect for a backing.

Oh my goodness… those elephants are so darn cute! Can't wait to see what you make with them. I recognize the wip you are showing… it's a fun quilt, and is that a new line of KS?
Laura says
I love your worktable projects. Hope your life life will soon be free of BIG elephants.

I'm assuming when you said applique that you appliqued those round corners onto the white? Curved piecing isn't my thing, but I face that as I have to finish my Gypsy Kisses. What a sweet project. The blocks turned out fabulous.

These projects are pretty cool I can't wait to see more of those Drunkard's Path style blocks. 🙂

Lots of great looking projects going on there! Love the elephants!

Can't wait to see what the quilt top will look like–California Girl is the fabric. I've been saving my "pennies" to buy some of this fabric.
I'll be back for the Blog Hop tomorrow.

I love your fabric! I think the elephant fabric is so sweet. Maybe a snowball quilt for a baby?

I just discovered your blog and website this past week when I was following a blog tour for Monique's new book – 11 Traditional Fat Quarter Quilts. I love, love, love the Farmer's Wife quilt you are making with the Fig Tree collections. I immediately went out and purchased a copy of the book myself so I could do the same. I look forward to reading your blog from now on! All the best!
