Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 379: Lifestyle & More for Quilters post features inspiring articles, quilting, sewing, home and organization ideas + more. Because we shared a new fabric collection yesterday (coming in September) I’ll be using those fabrics throughout this post.
I’m looking forward to a wonderful spring-like weekend and maybe even a bit of rain (we can sure use any we can get). I’m also hoping to spend time in my sewing room making a list of things I want to sew over the next few months.

Saturday Seven 379: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
These ideas for creativity are awesome (and not just for those in their forties). Good reminders here about the power of gratitude. And you’ll definitely want to bookmark this list of “Thank You” quotes.
2. Recipes to Try
I can’t wait to try this Pickleback Slaw! And I’m a lemon-lover, so I also can’t wait to make this Creamy Lemon Gnocchi. I’m also going to try this Red and White Mostaccioli soon.
3. Quilt + Sew
We are beginning to share our Delightfully Yours fabric collection with Moda fabrics and hope you will love it as much as we do. This group is showing to shop owners now for order and will ship in September 2025. Yesterday we shared a video along with a blog post–and there will be more to come. I have five new patterns that are now in the shop with introductory pricing.
- Get all five paper patterns with free shipping and 25% off (through March 10, 2025)
- The new PDF patterns are 20% off through March 10, 2025 (Block Party, Blooming, Eclairs, Quilter’s Cottage, and Sunnyside)
4. Book & Podcast Recommendations
I recently enjoyed the Drowning, Treading, or Swimming episode of Deep Questions with Cal Newport. I’m also finding a lot of great ideas for organizing in this book: Ways to Organize Your Life. It’s geared towards those who have ADD, but the ideas work for anyone.
5. At Home + February Favorites
These ideas for organizing daily are super helpful. And I have been trying to use clean products for skincare and makeup. A couple of my favorite things are this spray that I use morning and night, and this body wash that smells amazing.
6. Sew Sampler February 2025 Box
The February Sew Sampler Box from Fat Quarter Shop just arrived–so many fun things are included (as usual)! Find the list of products below:
- Get the February Box a la carte (also includes an exclusive pattern not listed here)
- Piece & Plenty 10″ Junior Stacker (cute fabrics by Lori Holt)
- Frixion Ball Pen
- Olfa Coral 45mm Ergonomic Rotary Cutter (My absolute favorite)!
- Pieceful Baskets Block 11
