Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 377: Lifestyle & More for Quilters post with a roundup of inspiration I’ve found from around the internet this week. I hope you’ll get some wonderful ideas for your weekend and the week ahead! We finally got rain here earlier this week (for the first time in 214 days), so I am feeling extremely grateful this weekend as the air feels fresh and beautiful. Sewing is definitely on tap for me this weekend too. And finally, Raspberry Summer is beginning to ship (see more on that under number 3 below), so I’m punctuating today’s post with some of my favorite Raspberry Summer photos!

Saturday Seven 377: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
I loved reading this post with Winter Wellness Tips–winter is made to be slow! I also loved this article with Questions to Get to Know Someone Better. The questions are in different categories and are perfect for learning about friends and family or for journaling the answers for yourself.
2. Recipes to Try
This Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup is easy and delicious. And finally, if you’re looking for a fancy dessert this weekend, these decadent Molten Lava Cakes look amazing.
3. Quilt + Sew
First–Raspberry Summer Precuts have shipped! I’m super excited to have some available in my shop now along with low-volume half-yard bundles. Yardage I ordered hasn’t yet shipped, but as soon as it does, I will be listing some extra kits for my Harbor Quilt Along starting next month.
4. Book + Podcast Recommendations
I’m finishing up Make Change that Lasts by Dr. Rangan Chatterjee in the next few days and am still loving it–highly recommend! It’s a nice blend of physical and mental health ideas and tips for making positive changes in your life. Also, I enjoyed the All the Money in the World: Interesting Money Questions to Ponder from Best of Both Worlds.
5. Teaching Trip
I just spent a couple of days teaching my Dresdens class and a Grandmother’s Flower Garden EPP class at a retreat just a couple of hours north of where I live. Even though it is a lot of work to prepare for an event like this, I always come home so motivated to do it again. I do enjoy teaching and learning from quilters from all over the country and having in-person quilting conversations. The creative energy is always so wonderful, and I always come home with fun ideas for projects to make and design!
6. Chelsi’s Quilt Box Part 2
About a year ago my daughter did a video and shared many of her unfinished quilts. These are mostly finished quilt tops that just haven’t been quilted. Earlier this week she filmed part two, sharing the rest of her unquilted quilt tops. Watch the video above (it’s also available on our YouTube channel).
7. Recently on the Blog
Below you’ll find posts from earlier this week on the blog:
