Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing my Quilt Works in Progress February 2025. It’s been a busy month or so of sewing since I last posted an update. While there is more I’ve finished that I can’t share just yet, I’ve made some good progress on things I can share.
Quilt Works in Progress February 2025
Village Quilt
It was just over seven years ago that I jumped on the Village quilt bandwagon and started making house blocks using only fabrics from Sherri & Chelsi collections. I have posted about these little blocks dozens of times over the years and finally started getting close to finished about a year ago. As laid out in the pattern you’ll need 132 house blocks which you set together in various configurations with and without sashing pieces between the houses. I’m thrilled to say that my quilt top is finished and ready for the quilter! I have a couple of ideas for binding and just need to make that final decision so it’s ready to go when I get it back from my quilter.
Denim & Daisies Cheater Quilt with Navy Fireside Backing
Another project on my list has been to make a cheater quilt with the denim nine-patch fabric from the Fig Tree & Company Denim & Daisies collection. I’m so glad I waited on this one until I was able to use the navy Fireside backing. It made such a difference, and this is just the perfect snuggle quilt for our family room sofa.
Little Loves: 2025 Fat Quarter Shop Free Pattern
I’ve also finished up my Little Loves 2025 Fat Quarter Shop Valentine’s wall hanging since I last posted (I did share a photo in the blog post, but the quilt didn’t make it into the January video). I also made the 2024 quilt, but this 2025 one really has my heart! I used fabrics from our Raspberry Summer collection which I think are shipping any day now!

I watched your YOUTUBE video today on your February works in progress. I was thrilled to see your Village quilt and I am so glad that you are completing that project this year.
I would love to show you mine. I started it while I was working from home during covid. I am a real esate developer and my focus is creating master planned communities. I had to add a pocket park to my Village and I needed to see the Colorado Sky. I dont know how to send you a snipit of my version but I would love to share it with you.
