Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 375: Lifestyle & More for Quilters featuring a roundup of inspiration from around the internet this week. I hope you’ll enjoy this collection of ideas for self-care, cooking, quilting, sewing, organizing, decorating, reading, listening, and more!
I’ll be spending a good amount of time in my sewing room today, too–hoping to finish up some small projects and do a little organizing.

Saturday Seven 375: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
This New Year’s Resolutions post has lots of great self-care ideas (and some terrific quotes, too). And I also loved these ideas for embracing Slow Living.
2. Recipes to Try
A good friend just shared her family’s favorite Creamy Tortellini Soup–making it this week! I also want to try this Best Baked Salmon recipe soon. And finally, this Perfect Caesar Salad recipe is also on my list–I love how the author has been helping provide so much food for the first responders in the southern California fires.
3. Quilt + Sew
If you missed the 2025 Road to California Quilt show, you’ll want to read my friend Elizabeth’s fantastic recap here (her photos are wonderful, too). And find the directions for week 3 of the Fig Tree Valentine’s Day Mystery quilt here (it’s looking like such a fun project).
4. Book and Podcast Recommendations
So much here in this category today! I loved listening to this Best of Both Worlds episode on Repurposing. I also just finished reading Tidy Up Your Life by Tyler Moore and am using his ideas for some more organizing in my sewing room (I love his decluttering calendar and am going to make a sewing studio version for myself). Another book I recently finished reading is The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins–a quick read and great if you often worry too much about what other people think.
5. Cupid Box + January Sew Sampler Box
Be sure to order your Fat Quarter Shop Cupid Box now before they sell out (this is a limited-edition box with a Valentine’s theme)! Mine is on the way, and I can’t wait to see what it contains! I love the blue quilt pictured in this post. Who made it and what is the name of the pattern and fabric line?

I made it, but it’s actually a cheater print from the Denim & Daisies collection by Fig Tree 🙂

The salmon recipe sounds delicious and very doable. Love that blue & white quilt you recently finished. Gorgeous!

I just came across your “Sunday Best Quilts” book with Corey Yoder at my local quilt shop. I love reading both of your blogs- posts & video. I of course bought it. I am enjoying reading it.
