Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 365: Lifestyle & More for Quilters with a round-up of fun things I’ve found from around the internet this week. I hope you’ll find some inspiration for your weekend and the week ahead. I can’t believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner with Christmas so close after that. I’m planning on some last-minute cleaning and organizing and Christmas gift sewing.

Saturday Seven 365: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
I loved this post on “How to Make the Most Out of the Rest of This Year.” (We can’t do it all, but we can be intentional about the things we choose to do and then accept our best offerings). Also, here is a free workshop video from an organizer I follow with ideas to make getting organized easier.
2. Recipes to Try
I’m definitely going to try these Scalloped Sweet Potato Stacks this week! And this Sheet Pan Gnocchi is highly customizable and perfect for a busy weeknight. Also, several years ago I had an amazing Apple Cranberry Pie, so this year I’m going to try and make one!
3. Quilt + Sew
I just finished a new Christmas Table Runner using scraps from our Favorite Things fabric collection. You can find the pdf for this runner in the shop here. Next, my friend Lissa has some fabulous Countdown to Christmas tips and ideas in her post here. And finally, save 25% on all products at ElectricQuilt.com during the Black Friday sale November 18-December 2! Use promo code FRIDAY for discount. (Classes are always excluded from sales.)
4. Book & Podcast Recommendations
I really enjoyed this fascinating Greg McKeown podcast episode earlier this week. And I can’t wait for his new planner/workbook to arrive on Tuesday! Also, this Best of Both Worlds episode on Lightening Your Mental Load is so timely!
5. Quilting Life Academy New Session-Early Bird Pricing
I’m opening up another session of my comprehensive quilting course for beginner and intermediate quilters! Classes run for six weeks and will begin on January 12th, 2025. Everything is on-line, so you can watch the videos at your own pace and go back again and again for reference. There are lots of small project patterns included, and you will also make our course quilt, The Garden Stars Sampler quilt. We will have a live Q&A session for class members along with another fun on-line event. Register now and also take advantage of the early-bird pricing which is more than $50 in savings.
6. Recent Favorites
These Clean Skin Club Cloths are my very favorite. I use them nightly and then wipe out my sink after to get a double use. (They do also come in a smaller size, but I’ve found I love the larger size best). I’ve now ordered this cookbook for kids twice (for two different granddaughters). This year I also ordered the baking version as well. And I’ve also ordered this lip set for myself and for a gift–I love this brand! This cuticle oil has made my nails so much better–I apply it nightly. If you’re looking for a simple task list notebook–this one is terrific.

Is there a pattern for your Scrappy Fall Quilt? I don’t want to do a king, only full size but have been searching and cant find.
Thanks so much.

I love the patterns in the video! I already am purchasing the gumdrop one. Is there a link for the scrappy around the world? And the table runner? And the pillow? I could not find the links. Thank you! I love this podcast and blog!
