Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 358: Lifestyle & More for Quilters post with a roundup of fun and inspiring ideas I’ve found from around the internet earlier this week. I hope you’ll enjoy today’s inspiration. I’m home this weekend and I’m going to hopefully make good progress on my king-size fall quilt. I really want to finish this up in the next week so that I can use it when it finally cools down here. Fall is my favorite season, and I’ve never had a fall quilt for my room 🙂

Saturday Seven 358: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
This piece on working towards something you’ve been avoiding for weeks was just what I needed! And the “let go” practice for dealing with stressors is also a good one.
2. Recipes to Try
I can’t wait to try this Butternut Squash Lasagna! But first I’m going to make this Roasted Butternut Squash and Feta Soup–guess it’s Butternut Squash season! I’m also making this Pumpkin Bread this weekend–it’s been a long-time favorite of mine.
3. Quilt + Sew
First, the October $5 pattern is Sugar Pine Stars–it’s perfect for fall or Christmas sewing. Next, Laguna Sunrise is in the house! I’ve got some assorted bundles and low-volume sets plus some scrap bundles in the shop now. Also my friend Elizabeth just shared a free Strawberry Quilt block pattern here…12″ x 16″ finished…what a cute mini this would make–I think I’m going to have to make one for my sewing room!
4. Book & Podcast Recommendations
I love Sarah’s planning systems, and her latest podcast episode on how to plan a month is excellent. I also want to recommend the Before Breakfast podcast from Laura Vanderkam. The episodes are short with helpful topics, and I usually binge-listen to these.
5. New Favorites
Whenever I get together with friends, I end up learning about new products, books, podcasts, and more! On our recent getaway with friends, I learned about several new products which are all now favorites of mine, too! This 14×14 dry-erase monthly calendar is absolutely perfect for my sewing room.
6. Quilter’s Big Tote Video
I filmed the video for my Quilter’s Big Tote a couple of days after I published my blog post. In case you haven’t seen the video yet, I’ve got it above. This really is such a great bag pattern!
