Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Quilt Block of the Month October 2024. Keep reading for all of the details on this month’s block and for the video where you can see the blocks up close. We’re close to the end on this year’s block of the month, and so I also have a few notes for you about the upcoming 2025 Block of the Month–it’s going to be a good one!
Quilt Block of the Month October 2024
October Block Details
First, welcome back if you’ve been sewing along all year! We’re nearing the finish line. This month I did something just a little bit different with my blocks. I used a slightly different color combo for my large and small blocks. You’ll notice that my large blocks use the orange gingham only for the inner star points and center contrast. I used the light aqua for the center contrast and the darker green for the inner star points on the small block. It just gives a different look, and you can choose whichever option you like best!

Additionally, around this time of year, I often get questions about the upcoming year. And I’m happy to say that yes, I will be doing a Block of the Month for 2025. I’m currently finishing up the design and will have fabric requirements for you next month with the November block pattern.
