Hello, friends, and happy Saturday! Today I’m sharing the Saturday Seven 331: Lifestyle & More for Quilters with a round-up of fun things from around the internet this week. I hope you’ll find some things to help you have a lovely weekend and week ahead. I am grateful to be able to celebrate Easter this weekend and wish a lovely Easter to all of my readers who celebrate this holiday.
Saturday Seven 331: Lifestyle & More for Quilters
1. Self-Care
Some good thoughts on “Embracing the Anti-Frantic Life.” And if you love journal, I know you’ll love this self-care journal full of terrific prompts and inspiring quotes.
2. Recipes to Try
I can’t wait to try this Celery Salad from What’s Gaby Cooking (I love avocados)! And it’s still cool enough in the evenings for soup, so this Creamy Italian Sausage Gnocchi Soup is on my list. Perfect for warmer weather is this Hawaiian Grilled Teriyaki Chicken. I’m also going to try this Sourdough Pizza Crust Recipe. Finally, I’m definitely going to have to try Alton Brown’s Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies.
3. Quilt + Sew
Here is a Casserole Carrier Bag Tutorial perfect for all of your spring and summer pot lucks! And Amber shares directions for Friendship Stars in several different sizes here. Finally, stay tuned for a free half-square triangle project coming soon here on the blog!
4. Book & Podcast Recommendations
I’m currently reading a new-to-me book called The Miracle Morning and loving it! I’m also still reading Stress Resets and finding it super helpful, too! I’ve actually read quite a lot of books during the first quarter of the year and will be posting a round-up with more details soon.
5. March Sew Sampler Box
I received the March Sew Sampler Box earlier this week and had time to film a quick video the other day. You can watch above or on our YouTube channel. The fabric in this box is one I’ve been thinking about for a little while, and it did not disappoint! Find all of the items in this month’s box and a couple of favorites from the February box below:

6. Spring Things
I loved this article on “10 Ways to Find Time to Declutter Your Home This Spring” (I’m substituting ‘sewing room’ for home)! And if you love basket quilts…I have a Berry Baskets quilt and mini pattern you might want to add to your spring sewing list!
