Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing my Quilter’s Cottage Quilt in Delightfully Yours Fabrics. I’m so in love with how this quilt turned out–I do love a house block and a medallion quilt layout! I’ve also got hearts, flowers, and of course spools in this design. Keep reading for all of the details.

Quilter’s Cottage Quilt in Delightfully Yours
Quilter’s Cottage Quilt Details
This design was one of the first I worked on when our Delightfully Yours collection arrived late last year. This Quilter’s Cottage quilt finishes at 60 ½″ x 60 ½″ and uses the following materials:
- 1 Layer Cake
- 4 Fat Eighths for the house, roof, windows, and grass
- ½-yard grey accent fabric for the spools
- 1 yard outer border
- 2 ¾ yards background and inner borders
- 4 yards backing
- ⅝-yard binding
Quilter’s Cottage Wall Hanging
I also made a wall hanging version by just making the center cottage and adding two plain borders and the patchwork border. I left the star off of the house because my plan is to make a small Grandmother’s Flower Garden block to decorate this one.
Delightfully Yours Subscription Tin
Since I’m sharing the Quilter’s Cottage design, I thought it would also be a good time to share another new house quilt I sewed with our Delightfully Yours Fabric. This one is called Cozy and it’s a wall hanging. The pattern will be exclusive to our Delightfully Yours Collector’s Tin which is full of fabric, notions, and other fun surprises. Is the Delightfully Yours Tin like a subscription box? I haven’t seen it anywhere to pre-order, will you be offering that option in your Etsy shop? I’m also particularly fond of house blocks, looking forward to seeing your other quilts and projects. gg

It’s a one-time purchase and is filled with a variety of items. It is online at Fat Quarter Shop now to “notify me when in stock.” I will do pre-orders for them this summer when it is closer to arriving in stores.

The Quilter’s Cottage is a beautiful quilt as all of your quilts are! It is so tempting to get the pattern, but I need to finish some other projects before I get serious about making it.
