Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing my new Eclairs and Blooming Quilts in Delightfully Yours Fabrics. This collection has been a delight to sew with, and we are excited to share our finished quilts and projects over the next few weeks. Today I’m featuring two designs that are both fun to make and scrap friendly. Eclairs is also a perfect beginner friendly design, and Blooming features two different sizes. Keep reading for all of the details.
Eclairs and Blooming Quilts in Delightfully Yours Fabrics
Eclairs Quilt Details
The Eclairs quilt finishes at 72 ½″ x 72 ½″ and is a perfect beginner quilt! I used the small dot print pictured above for the background and inner border fabric and absolutely love the little sparkle from the dots. This quilt is also perfect for mixing and matching leftover jelly roll and charm squares–perfect for scrap and stash-busting! The Eclairs quilt was quilted by Marion Bott using the Folkart Flowers pantograph. Fabric requirements are listed below:
- 1 Jelly roll
- 1 Charm Pack
- 1 ½-yards background and inner border
- 1 ¼-yards outer border
- 4 ½-yards backing
- ⅝-yard binding
Blooming Quilt Details
The Blooming quilt blocks are also super simple to put together. This one is set on point–but you could always do a straight setting if you prefer. Blooming works great with Honeybuns, but you can also use fat eighths or fat quarters to cut your strips. And there are two different sizes included in this pattern. There is a 49 ½″ x 59 ½″ small quilt along with a 59 ½″ x 69 ½″ larger version. Blooming was quilted by Marion Bott using the Edgewood pantograph. Fabric requirements include (requirements for the larger quilt are in parenthesis):
- 1 (or 2) Honeybuns
- ¾-yard light floral for setting triangles
- ⅝ (1) yard for sashing
- ⅞ (1) yard for inner border, cornerstones, and binding
- ¾ (⅞) yard for outer border
- 3 ¼ (4) yards for backing

I love all of your fabric and patterns so much. They speak to me!! I do, however, struggle with being able to watch your videos. Three 15 second ads before the video starts and then less than one minute in another three ads. I finally just give up. Is there a better way to watch your tutorials? Are your fabrics and patterns only on sale through etsy? I’m so in love with all of your stuff but so painfully frustrated.

Thank you–all of my videos are on our YouTube channel too, where I believe the ads are less intrusive.
I do just sell on Etsy, but if you are having trouble with that platform I’m happy to help with that. There are definitely some do’s and don’t when buying there.
