Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the A Quilting Life February Favorites and Roundup 2025 with the most read posts from the month along with things I made and loved. These posts are always so much fun to write as I review and reflect on the previous weeks in order to plan ahead. And with spring just around the corner, this is a particularly fun time to make plans for the upcoming months.

A Quilting Life February Favorites and Roundup 2025
Most Read Posts
Just a couple of surprises here this month–my Grandmother’s Flower Garden project roundup was posted at the end of the month and still made it into the top five!
- First was the February Block of the Month–no surprise there!
- Second was the Harbor Quilt Along Introduction.
- Third was the Village Quilt Update.
- Fourth was the Grandmother’s Flower Garden Quilt and Project Roundup!
- And fifth was the February Works in Progress post.
Made in February
I did a lot of Delightfully Yours collection sewing in February and will be sharing more of those projects in the coming weeks. But I also finished up my Village quilt (above with more details under the most-read posts section). I used a citrine print from Raspberry Summer for the backing and the grey gingham from Seashore Drive for the binding. My friend Marion Bott did the all-over pantograph called Wall Tile on this quilt.
I also made a long-time bucket list project, a travel mini-iron case using Delightfully Yours. I still want to make fabric zipper pulls for the zipper, and then I’ll call it finished (pictured above).
5 Things I’m Loving Right Now
So many things right now to write about–here are the top five from February:
- Teaching! I had so much fun teaching once again this year in beautiful Cedar City, Utah. I taught a class on Dresdens and a class on Grandmother’s Flower Garden blocks and had the most lovely ladies in my clases.
- Gentle: Rest More, Stress Less, and Live the Life You Actually Want by Courtney Carver–I am loving this book and all of the practical ideas for slowing down and simplifying.
- Rain…after 6 months with no rain we finally got about ½ inch in February. We are actually hoping to get a little more this week.
- Healthy Snacking–I’m loving these divided trays I’m using to meal-prep snacks at the beginning of the week. I fill one with different types of fruit and berries and the other with cut up vegetables.
- Skincare–It’s been cool and dry, so skincare has been essential for me this month and winter season. One of my favorite simple things to use after washing my face and removing makeup are these cloths. They have been a total game-changer!
Thanks so much for stopping by to read the A Quilting Life February Favorites and Roundup 2025 post. If you’re looking for more of my favorites posts inspiration, you can find my previous posts in this series here.
