Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the Quilt Block of the Month November 2024 post. In today’s post I’ll share this month’s blocks and some details about their construction. I’ve also got a video to share, and I have fabric requirements for next year’s Block of the Month program. Keep reading for all of the details.
Quilt Block of the Month November 2024
November Block Details
Throughout the year I’ve mentioned that left-over half-square triangles would have a place in a later block. This is that block. I had so much fun using leftovers for almost all of the half-square triangles in my blocks. Of course, you can also use triangle paper and make all of the hst’s from the same fabric if you want. This is a super fun block to play with!
November Block Video
Watch this month’s block video above or watch it on our YouTube channel. I share more block details and thoughts about construction in the block video. Plus, you can see the way I pressed the blocks in the close-up view of the block backs.
2024 Quilt Along Resources
Remember, all of the block patterns for this sew along are available for free here on the blog through the end of 2024. Be sure to download all of the patterns as I will be removing them in 2025 to make room for my new sew-along patterns. Find all of the previous 2024 BOM posts and patterns by visiting the Block of the Month Archives Resources Page.
2025 Block of the Month Fabric Requirements
I’ve got the 2025 Block of the Month designed! I’m going to be sewing with our Raspberry Summer collection which will ship in early February of 2025. Laguna Sunrise would also be a wonderful collection to use for next year’s Block of the Month. And as with all of my block of the month projects, scraps are always perfect for the blocks! Be sure to download the requirements so you can start collecting fabrics.
Next Month’s Block
And finally, thanks so much for stopping by for the A Quilting Life Quilt Block of the Month November 2024 post. Stop back on Monday, December 2nd for the next block in the 2024 Block of the Month series.
Happy Quilting!

I am laughing at myself for making the 8″ block instead of the larger on this BOM. It has been challenging but I have kept up. 2025 will definitely be the bigger block. I love your patterns.

Thank you for sharing this with us, I just started quilting this summer, and love all your blocks! I want to join in for the 2025 BOM, so thank you for posting the the fabric requirements! I know you mentioned that you would need 1 fat quarter pack, how many fat quarters would you need? It seems like all my fat quarter packs have a different number of fat quarters. I’m sure that’s very much a newbie question! 🙂 Thanks for always sharing wondering projects with us!
