Happy Fourth of July! This picture sums up a perfect 4th of July afternoon to me…a quilt, a cozy chair, a book, and some lemonade! The quilt is my Hometown Summer quilt…a favorite of mine that I designed a few years ago for publication.

I try to make something new each year to add to my collection of patriotic
quilts and decor. This year I finished my Stars and Stripes quilt in plenty of time…we’ve had it on a chair in our family room for the last few weeks.
I’ll be spending today with family and doing a little cooking, a lot of eating, and
maybe even a bit of sewing! I hope you are getting to do the same if you are celebrating today!
