Happy Saturday! Hope your weekend will be a good one! First I want to say thank you for all of the lovely comments I got on my blog anniversary yesterday. I tried to reply to every one, but for some there is no email…please know I read every comment and appreciate the time everyone took to write!
Today is Minis and More parade day, and this month’s pattern is my Star Bright Mini.
This has been a favorite of mine, and I have loved seeing it worked up in
different fabrics…I have two to share and will begin with this fun Christmas version by Brenda. Be sure to go over to her blog to see close ups of her quilting and to see the cute backing she used for this quilt! I’m definitely going to have to make a Christmas version myself soon!
This next version is by Karen…you’ll notice she reversed the darks and lights in the pattern…what a fun idea…I love her version too!
Be sure to go over to Michele’s blog to see a couple more quilts!
Since we’re talking about mini quilts today, I thought I’d share another video tutorial I filmed while at the Fat Quarter Shop in March. In this video I demonstrate how I hang my mini quilts…I’ve had lots of questions about this and have shared it on the blog before…but it’s much more clear in the video!
Finally…Michele and I have been hoping to increase the participation in our Minis and More parades…so…we are going to begin offering prizes each month. We hope that will inspire more people to send in their photos. And for July we have a fun challenge…send in a photo of a Christmas project or gift that you make this month! We hope to see lots of fun ideas for the August parade!
Thanks so much for stopping by…have a wonderful weekend!

Both these are so pretty! I have been so busy and away so I did not get mine finished. Sad to say!
