Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I was happily surprised at the post office today with some quilty mail!
If this quilt looks familiar it’s because you’ve seen my original Swirls and Whirls
quilt before…it was a cover girl for American Patchwork & Quilting back in 2014.
I was able to teach this pattern when I cruised to the Caribbean this spring with Stitchin’ Heaven. They made kits using Corey Yoder’s Prairie collection for Moda.
I was able to use one of the kits for my teaching, and I finished up a smaller version (I made just 20 blocks instead of 30) of it while on the cruise!
It kind of got set aside and lost in the shuffle of market preparations, but I found it recently, used the Little Ruby green dots on cream for my backing and sent it off last week for quilting.
So fun to have it home. I’ll get the binding prepared and bind it this week! (Paper and PDF patterns for this quilt are available in my Etsy shop).
And…another quilt arrived home with this one…can’t wait to share that one, too!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Ooohhhh it's lovely. And love the green backing fabric too. Just got two back from the quilter last week, but I'm quilting a third myself right now, so looks like binding week will be next week. Best kind of mail, right? Post pictures after you've bound it please!
