I’m really enjoying Anne’s “Tisket a Tasket” Block of the Month…and last weekend I finished my March block! You might notice that my bunny doesn’t have a tail…I thought it would be fun to pick up a little pom pom for a tail the next time I get to the store (and I need to pick up some ribbon for his bow as well). The buttons I have picked out and will add after quilting. I am starting to put the buttons/trims for each block in labeled snack bags so that I’ll be able to get everything together at the end.
I also finished up another basket I’ve been working on. This basket is part of my Leanne’s House quilt by Leanne Beasley.
As soon as I finished it, I was able to stitch block three together…and I’ll be on to block four!
I’ve got plenty of quilty things to keep me busy this weekend (might have to do a little bit of yard work, though)…but first I’ll concentrate on finishing my tutorial so I can post it next!
I love those! It makes me want to get out my Sweet layer cake. I’m holding back though!

I LOVE, LOVE your tisket basket, what is that fabric? I was determined to use only scraps, it looks like Swell my Moda, is it? I haven’t done my March, I may have to change my mine…Your’s is so cute!

You’ve been a busy lady. And how organized you’ll be with your baggies of “parts”. I love the fabric you’re using for Tisket Tasket.

Oh my such fun blocks, smart idea to put the tid-bits in little bags, it will save you a lot of time!!
Love your bunny block! The fabric for the basket is perfect. In fact, the whole block is just so happy and pretty.
The other quilt is coming along nicely, too. I haven’t seen that one before.
Oh you are on a roll here… gosh do you ever sleep…lol.. Love your third block… the fabrics are just wonderful… And I love your Leanne´s House… :o)
What sweet baskets, love the fabric you used in Ann’s bom.. hmm yard work, now that would be nice, but we got snow this morning….
Love your T-A-T block Sherri. It’s so cottage-y. And the other quilt…to die for. I love samplers…maybe it’s the randomness (is that a word) or the unpredictability. Makes me long for Spring.

These are darling projects. I love Anne’s work. If I had my life together right now I’d be doing this block of the month too, but other things are taking priority. So I’ll just play along with you. The basket in the other block is so so darling. I’m really intriqued by it. I think it would work with the sketch machine embroidery too, like my bird quilt. Are the flowers rough edged appliqued? I can’t tell from the picture. It really is so cute. I love the whole project with the other blocks, too. Good work Sherri. I love all of it.
your baskets are amazing! i love that sweet fabric!
I’m always so impressed with your quilting! Those look great! You are amazing 🙂
I’ve been seeing these Tisket Baskets all around blogland. Your color scheme is so pretty!
And I love the basket in the Leanne quilt.. how the flowers have that etching in them. So cool!
