Made this Month
Most of my sewing in March was spent working on a new quilt I’ll be sharing at the end of May. This is a new pattern I’ll be teaching at two retreats but will also have available in my shop then. It is at the quilter’s now, and I couldn’t be more in love with it! I also made a fun table runner using Delightfully Yours fabrics with the Bloomberg pattern (pictured above). This table runner just says “spring” to me! Now that my secret sewing is finished, I’ll be working on works in progress for a couple of months. Although I might have to make a few little things here and there, too!
5 Things I’m Loving Right Now
Below are some of the things that I’ve been loving this month:
- First, I truly loved being able to give a presentation and class for Family and Consumer Science Educators from throughout the state of Utah. It was so good to present a little about the business side of quilting, fabric, and pattern design and also share my new Raspberry Summer collection with them!
- I loved reading the book Gentle: Rest More, Stress Less, and Live the Life You Actually Want by Courtney Carver. There were lots of practical ideas and just some plain old-fashioned good advice that I needed to hear. (I mentioned this in February, too but hadn’t finished it yet).
- I’ve been doing quite a bit of organizing and have loved these files–I love that I can put a lot in each one without fear of pages falling out. And I also love that I can list the contents on the outside of each file. Also, these reusable magnetic cable ties are great for cords, keeping things together, and quilting! I’ve been using them to keep fabrics together while traveling with projects.
- I’m also working on meal prep and planning–this cookbook arrived in mid-March and has lots of good and simple ideas!
- Organizing and planning. After finishing my long-running Village quilt project last month, I’m thinking about which work in progress to focus on next. These ideas have been so helpful.
Thanks so much for stopping by to read the A Quilting Life March Favorites and Roundup 2025 post. If you’re looking for more of my favorite’s posts inspiration, you can find my previous posts in this series here.

Hi! I have recently discovered you- so glad I did! Thanks!!!
Your organization ideas came at the right time. Our house in Pahrump had a little flood, and major work, due to a pipe break and all my sewing stuff is now stacked all over the house! Time to start unstacking! I hope to see y’all in person one day!
