This weekend I’m doing some handwork along with some organizing. I have a quilt at the quilter’s that I’m hoping to get back soon so I can start binding it. And I have some things to do around the house as well!

2. Recipes to Try
These Crispy Egg and Potato Souffle Bites look amazing (perfect for a breakfast-for-dinner night, too). And for something sweet to eat–this Quick Strawberry Cake from What’s Gaby Cooking is on my must-make list!
3. Quilt + Sew
Fat Quarter Shop has a fun new Classic & Vintage Quilt Block Tutorial here. Here is a fun way to use orphan blocks–make a quilted patchwork tote! And finally, if you have been wanting to try starching your quilting fabric, Nicole explains the technique very well in this post.
4. Book + Podcast Recommendations
I’m reading this book now and have loved it so far. I actually had it on my shelf but put it on the top of my stack after a good friend recommended it. I also enjoyed this Friendship Roundtable from the Happier Podcast. It had some great ideas for making, keeping, and deepening friendships. And finally, if your home is overflowing with books, here are some ideas to help you declutter your library.
