Hello, friends! Today I’m sharing the A Quilting Life Favorites August 2026 with all of the most-read posts this month, recently finishes and starts, and the things that I’m loving right now. These posts are always fun to write as I look back and review the month and get ready for the new one ahead.
It’s especially fun to write this month’s post since August was such a fun and busy month–it’s nice to take a minute to slow down and review the last several weeks. September is shaping up to be busy as well as we get ready to share exciting new fabrics with you at the end of the month. Keep reading for all of my August favs.

Made in August 2026
So much of what I shared in August was really sewn much earlier. This is mostly because I’ve been working on new quilts and projects with a collection we’ll be sharing at the end of this month. But I have done some fun sewing in August that I can share including the Poinsettia Stars blocks and the Pumpkin Cottage Pillow pictured above.

Things I’m Loving Right Now
Here are the top things I loved in August and now!
- First, the opportunity for a bucket-list vacation to the most incredible places in England and London with the most incredible group of people! I’m truly grateful for this opportunity and will treasure this trip my whole life.
- I am absolutely loving The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion. I’m only on volume two but am completely hooked! I’m so grateful for the recommendation from two members of my Patreon group.
- This sweater is one of my favorites ever (okay, I’ve only tried it on and worn at home because it’s definitely too hot to wear anywhere else now). The quality is exceptional, and the price is terrific.
- This cookbook–so many great ideas! I’ve thumbed through once and now am going through again to make my list of recipes and ideas.
- Also, I’m just loving the fact that September is here. Just a few more weeks and it should be cooling off here at night. I’m definitely a fall girl at heart.

Thanks so much for stopping by to read my A Quilting Life Favorites August 2026 post. I hope you found some inspiration for your quilting, sewing, and more. Find more Favorites posts here.
