I love the simplicity and serenity of the Locally Grown fabric collection. Its reminds me of summer days at my grandparent's dairy farm in Wisconsin. After the milking and chores were done on hot summer days and before the crops were ready to be harvested, Grandpa took a nap outdoors in the hammock that swayed gently with the breezes. Grandma and Grandpa are gone now, but it is a spendid image of the farm!

My favorite thing I am planning on doing this spring is get into wall hangings. I have had a friend ask me to make one and I have never thought about it, but...why not? But I have a thing about barns and barn yards...and I would love this fat Q bundle for that! Years ago I started one with appliques animals...tons of work, and I got the top/front done, but had problems with the back so I just tossed it out. But these (and my more elaborate education of quilting I have now) would be perfect. I'd do a Eleanor Burns Barn quilt. Thanks for the opportuniey!
