I love each and every block...and each and every color combination. Since the yardage won't be available 'till February...guess I have a couple of months to decide which pieces to order for borders, backing and binding!

Another fabric I'm dreaming of is...12 Days of Christmas by Kate Spain. It's not available until May...but the pictures on Kate's blog have me swooning already! In fact...I think I want to make each of my kids a Piece of Cake quilt from this fabric for Christmas next year!
Have a wonderful day...and best wishes for lots of happiness and creativity in 2010!

You make such beautiful things! What a wonderful talent!
Lots of wonderful projects, Sherri. That's a perfect Layer Cake pattern - one to remember. I can see it in a variety of fabrics. Thanks for sharing.
Love the quilt you have made and the 12 Days of Christmas fabric is just gorgeous!
Back at the sewing machine already? I will have family here for a few more days, and then I can think about the new projects that are already swirling around in my mind. Love your new creations.
Oh I'm nuts about your new quilt...that's a great pattern. Cute Friendship Bags and that Tuffet is wonderful! Oh now I'm going to have to get some of that Christmas fabric...gosh it's cute. Thanks so much for sharing!
I love this pattern also! And the fabrics, but since I use only scraps I wander what that would look like. I thought that was interesting that you said you "love each and every fabric/square". That is so true when you are satisfied with each square almost as an individual creation. :-) If I said that correctly.
Wow, so many beautiful creations! Hope your Christmas is wonderful!
Hugs
Merry Christmas!
Oh that Verna looks perfect in Piece of Cake Sherri! And I'm drooling over Kate Spain's Christmas fabric too!
I love those bags! happy New Yr

It was SO FUN seeing your new quilt! I loved the Verna!!! And it looked so good using that pattern.
I just finished a Piece of Cake quilt, too, using Tranquility fabric. It turned out GREAT! It was a gift for my sister, and I put the last stitch in at 9 pm on Christmas Eve.
I almost think any layer cake would look just as perfect using this pattern. I'd definitely recommend it. Hopefully, I'll have pictures to post next week of mine.
Just wanted to stop by and say my tuffets are done and I have posted abut them.
Thanks
Regena
The tuffet is the small pillow. Did your link go to the pattern? If so I wasn't able to find it.

Found your blog today, love it!! I was perusing your pictures, and found one where I made the same quilt only using white for the background instead of the colored fabrics. I guess there's nothing new under the sun! Great minds think alike. Have a great day!
