A little while ago Sheri Howard offered a "pay it forward" gift to everyone who commented on her post; last week my gift arrived, and these notecards are the cutest ever!
I have a busy week ahead, so I didn't plan on much sewing; I had to put together one Confetti Cake block, though. And then I decided to choose strips for another.
Also, I can finally show a project I worked on last weekend! Stephanie is designing some bag patterns, and I was able to be a pattern tester for her West Linn Bag! I love this combination of Amy Butler fabrics and linen (great service, by the way, on my order from Kathy at Pink Chalk Fabrics--I'll definitely be ordering from her again)! The pattern was easy and fun to work with--and now I have a great new bag as well! Thanks Stephanie!

What beautiful cards from Sheri. Well as long as you had the strips selected why not sew? I'm surprised you didn't get lots more made. :o) Love the block pattern. LOVE your new bag and fabric choices. You're an awesome Supreme!
Love your new bag...and I'm flipping over your blocks. They are just wonderful!
Those blocks are fabulous! I love your fabric choices.
And the bags are so cute. West Linn? As in Oregon? It's just across the river out the window.
I love those blocks. How wide is each strip?
The blocks are very nice, and I also absolutely love your bag. The colors are so pretty and subtle. Really great job.

The bags are darling. I have some of that fabric! The cards are so cute! And I just made that very block for our Alpine Group swap. Your fabric is cuter than what I used though. It was a fun block to make.

And your Confetti block is a good one. Looks like it wasn't real hard to make.
I always thought it would be cool to be a pattern tester for someone. I love the fabrics you chose for those bags! I've never seen those confetti blocks, which are very cool looking. Can't wait to see more of your project with those blocks.

I had seen Sheri's tutorial on Moda Bake Shop and thought they were so cute. With making them personal, that is really cute. I'm the type that can't throw away the smallest of fabric, want to use it all up, these will be great.
Stephanie's bag pattern is going to be a hit, it's really cute with the linen and Amy's fabric.
Now gotta tell ya love those blocks and the colors. I'll be waiting to see this one completed.
