A lot of post titles were running through my head for this one...but when it came down to it...Bonnie, Camille, and Moda got it right...Simple Abundance is the perfect name for this fabric. This jelly roll arrived yesterday...and it is absolutely wonderful, perfect fabric. (Thank you, thank you, thank you to my Blog friend who was able to purchase this for me at market)!!!
It didn't take long for me to unroll the strips so that I could really get a good look at the fabrics...and they're all wonderful and perfect! I love the reds, the pinks, the blues, the greens, the browns, and the soft prints. There is a tonal beige (not pictured here) that goes great with everything...I think I'm going to need a bolt of that one for my stash.I plan on sewing all the blocks this weekend. Then, I'll have to put them away until September when the fabric becomes available to purchase by the yard (so I can get the border, backing, and binding fabrics). It will be worth the wait, though. This fabric is amazing--really amazing!
Have a wonderful weekend...hope you get to sew!

Oh Sherri you're such a wonderful tease. Imagine having the fabrics even before they're available in the shops...how devine! And to be able to make everything but the borders to your quilt ahead of time. Now we just have to wait til September for the reveal.
Maybe if we whine enough do you think you might allow us a sneak peek...just an itty bitty one?
Happy sewing this weekend!
wow!! you are so lucky! I wish I had some friends like that!!
You are so lucky to have a nice friend like that. That fabric is gorgeous...we are all anxious to see your finished quilt.
Goodness - I think I need a "market" friend, Sherri - LOL! Love the fabric - I think it even had a tiny bit of 60's flair to it!
Cheers!
Oh I know!! It is so much better in person!! I was amazed at how gorgeous it was!!

Aren't you a lucky one to get your hand on that pretty fabric so EARLY!!! Wouldn't it be awesome if WE could attend market???
Oh I wish I had such a nice friend at market! I am jealous! Do you think the group goes good with the Cotton Blossoms line?

The jelly roll fabrics are very nice. I hope whatever you make inspires me for a use for a jelly roll I have.
A dear friend brought me an entire fat quarter bundle of Simple Abundance - it's delightful. Enjoy!
It is so wonderful...can't wait to see what you make with it!
Isn't is a great feeling to find fabric that you love so much you know exactly what to make with it? I love that kind of inspiration. Have fun this weekend with your new sewing project!
I hope you'll show us a sneak peak when you are finished with the top so that we don't have to wait for September to see it. I love this fabric!
Oh you and I are so different, I would never open up the rolls right away, it is so funny how different yet the same people are, happy sewing this weekend to you!!
Sherri...I am a bit envious of you having the fabric. I can't wait to see your quilt and other project(s) put together. That is one of my big wants right now....along with a couple of other lines that just speak to me! Have a great weekend!
I can't wait to see what you did with the Sample Abundance jelly roll! I love the fabric and it will be fun to watch it pop up around the blog world.
Oooh, it's lovely Sherri :o). Lucky you to have a friend able to snaffle some for you :o).

Joy :o)
I just found your blog, and it's beautiful! I love your projects--will be interested to see what you create with that lovely fabric line!
You do the same thing as I do- open up a new jelly roll or charm pack too see teh beauty inside. It is not unlike opening a Christmas present!
I agree with you- Simple Abundance is just beautiful.
Thanks for popping by my blog. :) I wish I could remember what the fabric is that I used in that quilt. :( I lost the wrapper from the charm pack and the jelly roll. It's probably buried in the mountains fo stuff in my sewing room. lol I may never find it.
Lucky you. Have fun sewing those beautiful fabrics.
I have been very interested to see what the Simple Abundance collection will look like. Can't wait to see the quilt you come up with.
Your so lucky getting that Jelly Roll. Good for you digging right into it and taking it apart. I always keep it bundled up for a while.
Lovely fabric. I want to reach inside the computer and pet it.
It all is just so pretty. Just begs for you to unroll the rolls and touch each strip. I will be watching for your project!
