Happy Wednesday! Today I’m sharing a little bit of my weekend sewing! One of my goals last weekend was to get caught up on a few quilting bee blocks I’d fallen behind on! This strawberry block from Lori Holt’s Farm Girl Vintage book was the first one I made.
I’ve had this book for a little while but never realized how cute the strawberry
block would be. I just love it! It went together especially fast because Cynthia cut out all of the pieces for us!
I also put together a Burgoyne Surrounded block for Stephanie! Stephanie also cut out all of the pieces for us. Boy was I ever glad she sent everything all ready to sew! Her quilt is going to be beautiful! (If you click on the photo of the block I made for Stephanie it will take you to the post where I share my finished version of this quilt).
Finally, I pieced two Spell it with Moda blocks for Kim. Again…Kim sent the fabrics all ready to sew. I can’t wait to see her quilt–I think it will be stunning with the black Moda Cross Weave background!
I’m almost caught up with both of my bees. I have one more block to make before the end of the month. It’s a super fun one that I’m really looking forward to making. But it’s going to be a bit more time consuming, so I got these finished up first.
Also…there is a great end of summer supplies sale going on today through the weekend at Craftsy…some of their most popular supplies are on sale here!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
