Hello! Last summer I did a fun series on the blog with 6 different star blocks that could be made into a small sampler quilt. For quite a while I’ve been wanting to make it a little easier for you to find the tutorials…
so…I made some new graphics for each post and have compiled them all here,
beginning with the Martha Washington Star block. You can click on each photo in this post and it will take you to the original blog post for that block. If you are a Pinterest user you can then pin the image to save the link directly to the block tutorial. (Follow me on Pinterest here).
Next up is the Ohio Star block…
The ever so fast and fun Sawtooth Star block…
And of course a Scrappy Sawtooth Star!
I finished up the series last summer with two more favorites: the Star Puzzle block…
And perhaps my favorite…the Vintage Star block!
I hope having these links all in one place will make it easier to find these block tutorials. Since each tutorial is for a 6″ finished block, they make perfect additions/replacements for the Splendid Sampler blocks or any other 6″ quilt block sampler you might be making!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy quilting!

My polka dot star blocks are in the same state as when I finished them last year. I did get some navy with white microdots fabric to finish up the mini quilt. Now all I need are Hildy's finishing instructions because I can't get her beautiful setting out of my mind. Are you listening/reading, Hildy? 🙂
