I’ve really been trying to finish up some works in progress every week. The other night I decided to finally finish a project that I started right before Christmas last year. I finished this pillow sham using Carrie’s “Full House” pattern. I even got the binding added and sewn, so I guess this is my first Christmas project for this year! (The fabric is 12 Days of Christmas by Kate Spain for Moda).
I’ve really been trying to get my Fig Tree Farmer’s Wife quilt finished up, too. I have 32 straight-set blocks sashed and 28 on-point blocks sashed..
I had to take a break from sashing and lay them out to see…
Here are most of the finished ones…just in random order. Next time I’ll have to take a picture of the blocks somewhere else…no more would fit here on this full-size bed!
Hope you have a weekend of wonderful sewing!

Your quilt is going to be amazing!! I love the pillow, too. When this time of year rolls around I always get annoyed with myself for not working on Christmas projects throughout the year. Story of my life! LOL

I have the same problem but have a queen size bed. Just where do you put all your blocks to audition the setting? If I use the floor, I either walk on them or the dog decides to play keep-away!
I love all your blocks!!!

Loving the pillow sham. I have been wanting to make some for our bed as well. I finally got a hold of a pattern, now all I need to do is find that inspiration fabric.
Your farmers wife blocks are so pretty. Lotsa piecing, but it will be beautiful in the end and worth all the piecing.
