This post should have been written yesterday…but I didn’t get to sit down at my computer until this evening. Not only has this week been a whirlwind…but I also have so much on the list for the weekend–wonder if I’ll get any sleep?!!! I have more Christmas gifts to finish (and some to start, too)–and I have lots of binding to do as well! Today I picked up my Simple Abundance quilt (pattern A La Mode by Camille) from Judi (you can see close ups of the quilting on Judi’s blog here). Judi’s quilting is just amazing, just absolutely beautiful. I’m so happy with this quilt and will be binding it over the weekend for sure!
I also have three small projects that came home this week (all need bindings soon as well). First on the list will be my 12 Days of Christmas table runner (pattern “Crossroads” by Heather Mulder Peterson). I also hope to bind my “Churn Dash” and my Verna table topper!
And now to announce some prizes for the members of our ButterChurn parade! Sherri of This & That patterns awarded a set of her 8 new patterns to Shannon (no blog)!
The FatQuarterShop has donated a $25 gift certificate which will go to Allison! And a $25 gift certificate from Quilter’s Paradise will go to Tonya! Quilt Taffy has donated a $10 gift certificact that will go to Gretchen! And Bear Paw Quilts and More has donated two charm packs of Fancy Hill Farm by Robyn Pandolph to Mary! Thanks so much to everyone who participated and also to our wonderful parade sponsors who make it possible for there to be so many wonderful prizes each month!
Also…you have a chance to win too! Sherri of This & That is also having a giveaway for a set of 8 new patterns along with the Butter Churn pattern (thank you Sherri)! Head on over to her blog to enter!

I wish I could produce the beautiful quilts that you do. I am just not that creative, but enjoy what I do create and love following others ideas!

I love your A La Mode quilt. Judy did a great job. And I'm loving the Verna runner — did I miss this one? I have a Verna jelly roll that I'm itching to use, but I can't make up my mind about what pattern to use.

Well after seeing your quilt I have something green stuck in my eye (think its called envy!) which I will have to go and remove.
