Hello and happy Friday! On Fridays I share some of my favorite things, and today I’m sharing ideas on cleaning and organizing your sewing space! We all need to do this occasionally so we have more time for sewing and quilting, right?!
A couple of years ago I posted a summer organizing series where I gave twenty
ideas for cleaning and getting organized in the sewing room. I’ve compiled links to all of the posts on one page to make it easier for you to read everything. Just click on the photo above to get started (or go here to read the first post about cleaning and organizing your sewing space)!
And…I thought I’d share a photo here I shared on Instagram (I’m @aquiltinglife there) earlier this week…some pretty trimmings from our upcoming Creekside fabric collection…I’ll be sharing a lot more about this fabric in just a few weeks!
Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks so much for stopping by!

Ooh, I just love the pretty thread, all in a row. Makes me just want to pick a color and get sewing.

Happy Snappy trimmings! I save mine in a zip bag and toss them around the natural area in my neighborhood — for the birdies 🙂
Now I am gonna read that organizing post again

Those trimmings are a terrible/wonderful tease. I don't know if that green qualifies for the fancy color of the year 'greenery', but it's lovely! And those dotted circles are definitely going to be added to my stash.
