Hello and happy Thursday! I have a finish to share! And I have to say this one feels great to be able to cross off the list because it sat in a drawer mostly cut out for over 18 months!
I absolutely love the flowery, loopy quilt pattern and how it perfectly
complements the quilt design. My friend Katilyn did the long-arm quilting for me, and within a few hours of it arriving home I was sewing binding (for info on quilting by Kaitlyn see her informational blog post here)!
I decided on the large black floral from the Fig Tree Farmhouse collection for the binding…luckily I found some at my local hardware store!
I’ve got two more sides to bind and then I’ll share this quilt one more time!
Thanks so very much for stopping by!
P.S. Sample yardage for our next collection arrived on Monday…so I’ve been sewing like crazy to get the new quilts ready. I’ll start sharing some sneak peeks of the new fabrics asap!

Okay – I just gotta ask… hardware store?? I've seen drug stores that carry fabric, but I've never heard of a hardware store with fabric. Is it a Mom & Pop store that has all kinds of unusual things? I'm very intrigued!
Janice Holton says
Yes, I agree with Kathy. Inquiring minds wanna know. Hardware store????? 🙂

absolutely love everything about this quilt. The black fabric's really set everything off beautifully. And the quilting is the cherry on the sundae.

I have to chime in on the hardware store!?? I have never heard of one that carried fabric – how much of a selection do they have? Beautiful quilt – I really love how the black frames it perfectly.

I adore your fabric choices for this quilt. It manages to look coordinated but scrappy. And the black and white smashing sets it off perfectly. Very impressive. Will you be releasing this pattern?

I just adore this quilt. I am anxious to try making one real soon as I do have the pattern. I have got to finish 6 other quilts before I can even think about it. No, that's not true, you know that I will be thinking about it!!! The lovely photos of your finished quilt will help to spur me along. Keep sewing!

And I have some quilts that are over 10 yrs old, waiting to be finished!! 🙂 I'm just not a great finisher: I love to start them!! Waiting to see the new fabric!! Hugs, H
