Another week is almost over, but I’m not going to panic, really…I’m trying to just enjoy the days and work on a little of this and a little of that. I finished up two more “On a Whim” blocks the other night (it helps to have the blocks cut out and ready to sew). I’ve decided to make my quilt using 20 different Anna Maria Horner prints which might have necessitated a couple of fat quarter purchases this week. I’ll share soon!
After seeing so many beautiful projects showing up with the new Heather Ross collection, I also decided I had to have some! I was able to pick my favorite Briar Rose fat quarters from Sina’s shop, Quilt Essentials, where you can create your own bundle. These sweet fabrics are even more beautiful in person than in all the photos…I’m thinking of some English Paper Pieced hexagons with these prints very soon…
And my Bella solids quilt is finally set together with borders…ready to be quilted! I have all the information on my setting on Moda’s Cutting Table Blog today…stop by for a visit!
I’ve had a few emails from some of you who’ve also made Bella solids projects. If you have something you’d like me to post on my blog, please send me an email!
And finally…my terrific blog friend Elizabeth was able to stop by for a fun visit the other day! She is absolutely as nice and wonderful in person as she is on her blog (as I always find to be the case in the blog/quilting world). We had a great visit talking quilts, and I so appreciate her stopping by while traveling. I know sometimes it’s not always convenient to add another stop to your trip!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

It was really fun to see you and to see all your beautiful quilts. I'm glad you put a link to your Moda column so I can pop over there and read it–thank you very much.
Congrats on getting your solids quilt all put together. It is wonderful!
