Still sewing over here…six quilt tops finished since mid-March…just a couple more to go. I’m truly having so much fun–every fabric collection I’ve been working with is inspiring and incredibly beautiful. I believe it’s going to be one amazing market based on what I’ve seen thus far.
I do have a quilty picture to share, though–I managed to find a fat-quarter bundle of the 21 Denyse Schmidt prints on sale now at Joann’s (thank goodness for an awesome Etsy seller who charged a fair price for this without marking it way up)! I can’t believe I bought quilting fabric from Joann’s, but the fabric is wonderful–it definitely has “that” feel of the highest of quality quilting fabric.
Be back soon, and I promise to pay more attention to this poor, neglected blog of mine! Have a wonderful day!

Gorgeous prints. We have a Joann's here, they do have a very nice selection of quality quilting fabrics, you can really tell the difference when your in the store and feel and see the difference, with all the coupons and such they have right now, its a steal.
Awesome to find all your looking for through one buyer on Esty!!

Good for you! I may need to hop over to JoAnns and check it out myself! Getting down to the market minute, yes?

Now you're a happy camper. I did see some etsy sellers charging 4.50 for a fat quarter! Ridiculous.

Joann's is starting to bring the higher quality quilting fabrics to their store. I am pleased about it too. It's about time.

Sherri, could you let me know what Etsy shop you found it on. My local Joann's isn't carrying the line, don't know why, it is so beautiful. Hugs…

My joanns had the entire line. I just wasn't the biggest fan but I'm glad you are enjoying it and were able to get some of it!

I got some of the fabrics from Joann's and then a complete fat quarter bundle from an etsy seller who did not mark up the price. And now I'm going back to Joann's for more of the dots.

Hold on a second… six quilt tops? You don't sleep, do you?
I got some of the DS Quilts / Denise Schmidt fabrics at JoAnn's too. I was surprised by how nice the quality of it was. I was also surprised to see that JoAnn's has it "marked" at $9.99 a yard! Ouch! I doubt it will be on sale anytime soon — hope I'm wrong about that — but those coupons do help with bigger pieces. 🙂
I'm off… I'm really, really, really far behind.

I have found quite a bit of great quilting fabric from Joann's. I have found Michael Miller fabrics and a ton of Alexander Henry fabric. You just have to be patient and spend time looking at every bolt they have. I can't afford to always shop at our one local quilt shop so spending some time perusing the fabric at Joann's has paid off for me!

Wish I could get my hands on these toooo!!!!!
They look just to be… Perfect!!!:0)

I also bought a 21 fat bundle off of Etsy and was so happy to see that they were charging a very fair price…it is also sad to see others already asking 5.00 a fat quarter. Now I just have to wait for the mailman! Lisa in Texas

Joann's seems to be a hit or miss. The Joann's in my area (Northeast Wisconsin) has some good fabric. Awesome that you found some beautiful fabric.

There was a whole rounder at my store, but when I got there. HA. Not so much. Are you Denyse's friend on facebook? Interesting posts about this line. And…

Thanks for sharing about this "DS Collection" fabric at Joann's. I was able to find it locally (no fqs, though) and bought half-yard pieces of eight prints. Can't wait to sew with it.
