Hello, friends! I’m super excited today to share my progress with the Star of Wonder Sew Along Mystery Quilt with Fat Quarter Shop. I’ve been sewing along with Fat Quarter Shop for their summer mystery quilt along for several years now, and I’m super excited about this year’s project. I’ve finished last week’s initial block and the four smaller blocks for this week. Keep reading for all of my photos and links to the free PDF pattern files
Star of Wonder Block
Last Tuesday our friends at Fat Quarter Shop shared the first block for the mystery quilt, the Star of Wonder block. This one is above left in red and green (last minute I decided to use scraps from our Favorite Things collection + other reds and greens from Sherri & Chelsi collections for my quilt). I love that the block is large and stunning and went together quickly and easily!
Week 2 Starlight Block
This week’s block is the Starlight Block, and you’ll need to make four. Mine are pictured above in the white and green. These went together even more quickly than the week one block!
Next Week’s Blocks…
Be sure to stop by next Tuesday to see my progress on the quilt and to get the link to the free Week 3 Block PDF pattern. If you’re not already sewing along, you will definitely want to…this quilt is absolutely darling and a perfect summer pick-me-up project! You can find the fabric requirements PDF below. And see a kit option and a backing set using the Once Upon a Christmas collection by Sweetfire Road.
Thanks so much for stopping by for my Star of Wonder Sew Along Mystery Quilt update.
Happy quilting!

I’m trying to keep up I 🥰 your block. I have to stop for a while have had a nasty fall and a broken bone on my right shoulder and nursing a fractured rib. I’m in a sling for my right hand having to wait for five weeks before anything happens. Thanks for sharing I enjoy watching your work and love your fabrics.

It might be sold out…but the fabric is called Once Upon a Christmas and they should still have that.
