Hello and happy Saturday! If you’re looking for my Saturday Seven post, I posted it earlier today since today is my turn to take part in the Spelling Bee Saturday blog hop sponsored by Fat Quarter Shop! This has been a fun blog tour to follow along…each week a couple of different individuals make letters or blocks from the book and share their blocks. So many different and fun fabric combinations have been used so far!
I decided to use fabrics from our upcoming Clover Hollow collection for my
letters. I just love everything about this collection and can’t sew enough with it!
My assigned block was the capital letter “S” and I was pleased to see that both capital and small letters come in two different sizes.
Of course I had to make both! I love the floral background print I used with both the grey large floral and the navy micro dot! so much fun!
I ended up not wanting to stop sewing these letters the day I made my blocks. So I made an “H” that I’m going to make into a pillow for a spunky little girl in our family who just turned four. She loves blue, and I can’t wait to see her face when she receives her “H” pillow!
Patterns for these letters (as well as the rest of the alphabet, some punctuation symbols, and other fun blocks are all included in the Spelling Bee book by Lori Holt!
Be sure to follow along the Jolly Jabber blog each Saturday to see the new blocks sewn for the variety of letters, symbols, and patterns in this delightful book!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I notice there are slightly different versions of the "s" block. How do I get instructions for the 2nd version???
