In this week arrived 7 fat quarters of Denyse Schmidt’s new line Greenfield Hill. I wasn’t sure about this fabric from the photos on-line, but in person–it’s stunning! The only problem with this purchase is now I have to order the other two colorways. The feel of the fabric is gorgeous as well–trust me when I say you’ll want some of this fabric.
One charm pack of Tula Pink’s Parisville also entered my stash this week. Again–amazing fabric–pictures on-line don’t do it justice. I have some bigger pieces of a few of these prints but really wanted to see what the whole line looked like–I was so happy to find a charm pack on-line.
So…the totals are as follows: Fabric in this week 2 ⅜ yards (fat quarters and charm packs add up quick, don’t they?)! Fabric used this week 5 ⅜ yards ( 3 ⅜ yards for Mon Ami and 2 yards for my “Be Mine Blog Tour” project). Total fabric in for the year is 8 ⅛ and total fabric used for the year is 5 ⅜. It’s week 2, and I’m already 2 ¾ yards in the hole. Still…I’m glad I’m doing this…it’s been really fun and interesting to see the totals after two short weeks!
The Be Mine Blog tour starts today at Vickie’s blog…and I’ll be back tomorrow with my “Be Mine” project!
