Small Projects for Summer

Hello and happy Monday! Welcome to the July Minis and More parade!  This month we are featuring projects perfect for summer sewing and display! And we have such a fun variety of projects to share that I could hardly wait to publish this post!

First up is Brenda’s “Mini Camper” (pattern by Sherri Falls).  I love that she 

 made it into a pillow! (I guess I’m pretty partial to pillows)!

Brenda also made these fun picnic place mats!  Love them!  You can see more about Brenda’s projects and her cute display of even more summer-themed projects on her blog here!

Hildy also made a summer pillow…I love how she combined Lella Boutique’s Cottage Blossom mini and Social Butterfly mini patterns into one project! And of course, her use of Bonnie & Camille fabrics really sets it off!

Karen made the Thimbleblossoms mini Flower Patch using Sundrops fabric by Corey Yoder…such a fun combination!

And I love Amanda’s ice cream applique’–the pattern is from issue 37 of Love Patchwork & Quilting…and she used a Summerfest charm pack…perfect!!!

This is one of Brenda’s projects from last year…the Fig Tree popsicles pattern made into a pillow…

And another of Brenda’s projects…her mini pineapple from earlier this year…all perfect summer projects!  I hope these summer-themed projects have inspired you to start another project or two…or three!
